Apple reportedly develops two iPhone game controllers

Apple is developing two game controllers for the iPhone and may sell them under the Beats brand, according to reports citing Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. References to two unreleased controllers were previously found in macOS 26.7 beta code. Apple already sells third-party controllers, but the reports say these would be its own designs.

Why it matters

First-party controllers would deepen Apple's push to make the iPhone a dedicated gaming platform.
