SpaceX plans to invest as much as $100 billion in a second private launch complex in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, according to five outlets. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027, with the first Starship flight possible in 2029. The company says the site could eventually support thousands of launches annually.
