Philippines ferry fire kills five with dozens missing
At least five people died and more than 80 remained missing after the MV June Aster caught fire near Coron in Palawan, Philippines. Coast guard teams rescued more than 40 passengers and crew from a manifest of 134 as search operations continued. Officials warned the totals could change; the fire’s cause was not reported.
