Guinea landfill collapse kills 30 after heavy rain

A huge waste mound collapsed after heavy overnight rain in Conakry, Guinea, killing 30 people and burying nearby homes, according to the government and reports from the BBC, Al Jazeera and Guardian. A minister had recently promised to move the dump. The feeds did not say how many people remained missing or displaced.
