Thieves steal Bronze Age treasure in four-minute museum raid
Thieves raided a Spanish museum and stole items from the Treasure of Villena, a Bronze Age collection containing nearly 10 kilograms of gold artefacts. The break-in lasted about four minutes and authorities described it as highly organised. It was not immediately clear how many of the more than 50 objects were taken.
Why it matters
The raid threatens an unusually important prehistoric collection and poses a difficult recovery effort.
