Apple splits iPhone modem suppliers by model and market
Apple says its C2 cellular modem powers the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro worldwide, plus iPhone 18 Pro Max models sold outside the United States. The US Pro Max retains a Qualcomm modem. Apple has opened pre-orders for the new phones, and some configurations now show delivery estimates slipping into October.
