Apple ships OS updates patching hundreds of security flaws
Apple released iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS updates focused mainly on security. macOS Tahoe 26.6 alone addressed 155 CVEs, while iOS and iPadOS fixed nearly 90 vulnerabilities spanning the App Store, Neural Engine, kernel, and WebKit. Apple also shipped macOS Sonoma 14.8.8 and Sequoia 15.7.8 bug fixes.
Why it matters
These are likely the last notable updates before Apple's fall releases, and the volume of patched flaws makes prompt installation worthwhile for most users.
