Amazon appointed cybersecurity veteran Kevin Mandia to its board of directors, citing his experience combating cyber threats in government and business. Mandia founded and led Mandiant before leaving Google two years ago following its acquisition of the security company. RSS reports do not describe his committee assignments, compensation or the board’s immediate priorities.
